How many glasses of champagne are in a bottle?
A standard 750 ml bottle holds about 25 ounces, which is six 4-ounce pours. If you fill flutes higher, expect five. A magnum (1.5 liters) pours about twelve. Plan by pours, not by glasses: one flute per guest usually covers a toast, even if a few guests get a top-up.
How many bottles of champagne do I need for 100 guests?
For a single toast, about 17 bottles, at six pours per bottle. If you’re serving champagne all evening, plan on roughly half a bottle per guest, or about 50 bottles. Order about 120 flutes for 100 guests so there are spares for refills and glasses that get left behind.
How many ounces is a champagne flute?
Most champagne flutes hold 6 to 10 ounces, but a standard pour is only about 4 ounces. The extra space keeps the bubbles in the glass. Our plastic flutes hold 6 or 7 ounces, which is the classic size for a toast or a mimosa.
Are plastic champagne flutes as good as glass?
For a crowd, they’re often the better choice. They look like glass in photos, weigh less and don’t shatter on a patio or dance floor, so there’s no broken glass to clean up. If you want real glass for a small head table or a gift, this collection also has a few boxed sets of crystal flutes and coupes.
Can I use champagne flutes for mimosas?
Yes. Mimosa glasses are champagne flutes. Fill a 6-ounce flute with about 3 ounces of sparkling wine and 3 ounces of orange juice, pouring the wine first so it doesn’t foam over. One bottle makes about eight mimosas, so a brunch for 20 guests having two each needs five bottles.

Plastic champagne flutes for every toast
Our plastic champagne flutes hold 6 or 7 ounces, enough for a standard 4-ounce pour with room for the bubbles. Choose from clear, gold, silver, rose gold glitter and bright colors, in classic stems, square bowls and vintage ribbed designs. Most come in packs of 12 to 36, and some arrive in two pieces that you assemble before use.
How many flutes and bottles
Plan on one flute per guest for the toast plus about 20% extra, because flutes get set down and forgotten. A 750 ml bottle fills about six flutes at 4 ounces each, so a toast for 100 guests takes about 17 bottles. For mimosas mixed half and half with orange juice, one bottle makes about eight drinks.
Plastic or glass
Plastic flutes are light and shatterproof, which makes them the safer choice for outdoor weddings, pool parties and busy dance floors. This collection also has stemmed plastic wine glasses in 10 and 14 ounces. For the head table, it includes a few small sets of real crystal glassware, such as hand-blown flutes and coupes. For cocktails and party cups, see our wine and cocktail glasses.
Care
Plastic flutes are hand-wash only: rinse them in warm, soapy water and let them air-dry if you want to use them again. The crystal sets are listed as dishwasher-safe. To finish the table, add gold or white napkins beside each flute.
