Put the greens in the basket, set it in the bowl and fill the bowl with cold water. Swish the greens, lift out the basket and pour the water away. Return the basket, put on the lid and spin until no more water collects. For best results, fill the basket only about halfway so the leaves have room to spin dry.

Yes, if you use it with care. Wear the cut-resistant gloves that come with ours, and set the mandoline on a flat, dry surface before you start. Slice with steady, even strokes and stop when the food gets small, rather than pushing your fingers toward the blade. Clean the blade with a brush, not your fingers.

The 6-piece kit has a 4-in-1 spatula, grill brush, basting brush, knife, fork and tongs. The 45-piece kit has spatulas, tongs, grill mats, shredder claws, a griddle cover and shakers. The 46-piece kit includes spatulas, shredder claws, salt and pepper shakers, a burger press and a cover. The larger kits come in a canvas bag. They fit Blackstone and other flat-top griddles. We’re not affiliated with Blackstone.

Prep and grilling tools

Before the party comes the prep. This collection has three tools that make cooking for a crowd faster.

Salad spinners

Our 5.3-quart salad spinners pair a stainless steel bowl with a spinning basket and a clear lid. They come in green or black. One set adds graters, an egg separator and nesting bowls with lids. The bowls go in the dishwasher; hand-wash the lid.

Mandoline slicers

The stainless steel mandolines give you even slices and julienne strips for salads, gratins and crudités. You adjust the thickness instead of guessing with a knife. Both come with cut-resistant gloves and fold flat for storage.

Griddle accessory kits

Our griddle kits are made for Blackstone and other flat-top griddles, in 6-, 45- and 46-piece sets. The larger kits include spatulas, shredder claws, shakers and a griddle cover, packed in a canvas carry bag.

Once the food is ready, serve it on serving trays and bowls and set out dinner plates for the crowd.
