How do I choose the right bowl size?
Compare the capacity and dimensions shown for the bowl or option you choose. A bowl for an individual portion and a bowl for sharing serve different purposes; check the measurements against the meal you plan to serve.
How many bowls come in a pack?
Pack quantities vary by product and option. Check the selected pack size and the product’s packing information before ordering. The collection includes both bulk party bowls and smaller reusable packs.
What materials are available?
This collection includes plastic party bowls, wheat straw bowls and sugarcane or bagasse bowls. Check each product’s material information and care instructions rather than assuming that all bowls in the collection are made the same way.
Can I heat food in these bowls?
Heat food in a bowl only as directed in that product’s care instructions. Capacity and material alone do not establish microwave suitability. Contact us if you need to confirm an intended use before ordering.
Are the bowls reusable or dishwasher-safe?
Reusability and cleaning methods depend on the product. Check its care instructions before washing or reusing a bowl, and do not assume that dishwasher suitability applies to every material or style.

Plastic bowls for soup, salad and dessert
Party bowls do more work than you’d expect: soup, salad, pasta, fruit, ice cream and chips. Most of ours hold 12 ounces, the usual size for a soup or salad course. A 10-ounce size suits salsa, sides and smaller desserts.
Plastic or wheat straw
Our plastic bowls come in solid colors, clear and gold-rimmed styles that go with our plates. They’re made for serving: hand-wash them to reuse, and keep them out of the microwave and dishwasher. Wheat straw bowls are different. They’re made for everyday use and are listed as dishwasher- and freezer-safe, so they’re a good fit for picnics, camping and kids’ meals.
How many bowls to buy
Count bowls per course, not per guest list. If only half your guests will have soup, you don’t need a bowl for everyone. For a sit-down soup or salad course, plan one per guest plus about 10%. For an ice cream bar, plan on one per guest plus extra for second scoops.
Finish the setup
For sharing, our 54-ounce bowls in serveware hold salad, chips or fruit for a crowd. Add plastic spoons for soup and dessert. If you need something compostable, our sugarcane bowls handle hot and cold food.
